Paramedic Reporting Station

To improve emergency services to a population of 1.1 million people, the Region of Peel is constructing Paramedic Reporting Stations in conjunction with satellite stations. This Station is the first to be completed.

The Station includes briefing and training rooms, and a boardroom which can be used as an emergency command centre. All rooms have video and audio presentation technologies. Infrastructure for future systems, such as videoconferencing, have been included.

All room systems are matrixed, meaning that content can be shown on any combination of screens. Infrastructure for future digital signage, which will tie into the Region’s network, will complement the televisions already in place throughout the Station.

The Shift Supervisor and Dispatch rooms have LCD displays which can show images from security cameras, local PCs, or other matrixed content.

The boardroom features wireless microphones and wireless system control. Older, analog systems may be used in this room alongside new digital equipment.
